"I recently started a policy with this branch, Greg Ellis. I started this policy under my name and added two drivers, my son and his wife. Something came up and I needed to remove my son’s wife from the policy. Upon speaking to the females, Chasity and M, they told me I could not remove someone from my policy without them being present. She even told me, in a very snide voice, “It’s the law”! Instead of them explaining how my policy was set up, which was not what I asked for, she didn’t want to help me at all. She became unfriendly and she acted as if I was a criminal trying to break a law! The drivers was listed as policy holders I found out upon calling another branch. I tried calling their corporate to report this fraud. No phone number listed. See, every day the person was on the policy you will be charged for each day. They tried to make it very difficult. One customer service person said it could take 7-10 days to get me switched to another branch before they can assist me with my policy. Greg Ellis branch had all the control even though they set my account up with the drivers as policy holders and not drivers. They don’t want to accommodate the customer and give them knowledge of their account and how they can make the situation right. They found to tell me about the law as if I was the one trying to commit the fraud. I am the account holder and I should be allowed to make changes to my policy. I was told by Greg Ellis firm that uninsured motorists was not necessary if you have full coverage but upon removing a driver with another branch, they tell me that it is necessary and it will cover you for missed work. I am so lost about coverage at this point! You pay for a service and if you use that service, then you are penalized for doing so! So is purchasing this uninsured motorist, when I already pay enough insurance, full coverage, worth it? I don’t think so in the long run. More research is needed. I had to switch branches in order to get my account fixed. This is how they do business. It also costs more when switching to a new provider. Who loses in the end? The customer!!! These insurance agencies target your accounts and make your rates go up when you switch as well. Rude woman! You need to learn how to speak to people with respect and not disrespect! Try and help resolve issues instead of becoming argumentative and escalating conflict and misunderstanding. How you work for this company in a customer service related position is mind blowing."
